DOD 250’77 Overdrive Kit

The DOD 250 ’77 is a high gain preamp-overdrive that has been used for more than four decades by all kind of music players. This preamp effect pedal can be used as a booster before the input of the amp to get a natural and warm overdrive or a heavy distortion by turning on the pedal’s gain. While it is a relatively simple preamp effect pedal, the DOD-250 offers a lot of possibilities: appart from it’s two controls, the input is sensitive to the volume of the instrument, delivering from a tube-alike overdrive when set at low gain to an extreme distortion very rich in harmonics when we turn the gain control all the way up, so you will definitely find a setup that suits your playing! As it hasn’t any frequency selective circuit, the DOD-250 overdrive works perfectly with both guitar and bass.
