Unlike the RC Booster kit, the AC booster kit is like building a small classic tube amp in a stompbox format. It’s a versatile effect that can deliver from a warm and soft overdrive to hard distorted tones and everything in between. It also features two active EQ knobs to perfectly shape the frequency response.

The AC Booster has a Step-by-step manual with pictures of each step and resistor color markings to make the assembling process easier.

The AC Booster is like a classic tube amp in a stompbox pedal format. Its Bass and Treble active controls allow you to set your tone properly using them as an equalizer, to get a warm and pleasant overdriven sound. The gain knob sets the AC Booster‘s amount of amplification, going from a soft and almost undistorted overdrive to more serious distortion tones. Another great uses of the AC Booster are to give your lead sound more punch to bring it to the foreground, or to place it in front of a tube amplifier to make it overdrive naturally.
